Over The Hedge review

This is a wonderfully fun movie, watch out Disney, your not the only animation studio in america anymore. Over The Hedge is about a lone racoon named RJ (Bruce Willis) he pretty much just wants food, so one he go up to a cave where Vincent the bear(Nick Nolte) sleeps. this bear has collected alot of food and RJ decided to just take what he needs, but because of RJ's greed he ends up packing everything up on a red wagon. when he decidedes to leave the bear wakes up. the food ends up rolling down a hill and then getting hit by a truck. Vincent then give RJ until the full moon(in a week) to get all his food back. RJ then scout the forrest untill he finds a family of naive forrest creature who are led by a turtle named Verne (Garry Shandling), these creatures have never seen a human and when RJ shows up he Shows then suburbain life and cons then into getting Vicents food back for him.

Now let me just say this, this movie is so cute. the CGI is fantastic and the humor is funny, this was an overall good family film. everybody can enjoy this movie. I really did like it. The only thing that kinda annoyed me was those scenes where all these crazy things happen after a other...umm like, the turtle does one thing and triggers a long domino effect of events. but other than that great movie. cute cute cute need i say more. 8/10

Jarhead Review

now this was an interesting war movie. Jarhead directed by Sam Mendes , is Based on former Marine Anthony Swofford's best-selling 2003 book about his pre-Desert Storm experiences in Saudi Arabia and about his experiences fighting in Kuwait. this movie stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Anthony Swofford, and Jamie Foxx as staff sgt. Skyes. in the movie Anthony is a sniper and is out in the middle east with the rest of his squad. what is interesting about this movie is that unlike most war movies that concentrate on the battles as their big moments, this movie does just the opposite. infact this movie has no battles what so ever. so if you were planning to see blood and guts , go watch Saving Private Ryan. This movie focuses all its attention of the soldiers mind. of the emotion that they feel. it concentrates on their ache for home and parinoia that their significant others are cheating on them. soldiers not only have to bare physical suffering they also have to bare even worse, the mental suffering that goes with being a soldier. I really enjoyed this movie because its something i totally didn't expect. Soldiers train, go to war, if lucky stay alive. then go back home, where they are nobody once again. this is exactly what this movie shows and its really a sad truth. 8/10

CLICK movie review

Click was an interesting piece. It stars Adam Sandler as Micheal Newman an Architect that just has way too many things going on in his life. His wife Donna (Kate Beckinsale ) wants him to spend more time with the family and his boss Ammer(David Hasselhoff) is always forcing more and more work upon him. Sandler just wants things to slow down. so one night he drives to a bed, bath and beyond in search for a universal remote for his tv. when inside he looks around until he finds a door with a sign on it that says BEYOND. curious he walks in and finds A man by the name of Morty( Christopher Walken ) who gives him a "universal" remote, a remote to control the universe. it allows Michael to be able to fast forward, rewind, pause and practically control all the events in his life. So much to an extent that it becomes a luxury for the overworked man who finally gets some quality time with his family and his life. But not everything lasts forever as Michael is about to find out, when the remote control begins to malfunction, causing Michael to deal with the consequences. SO from the Trailer ( which I will now include in all my reviews) the movie comes off as a comedy, a typical happy madison productions. but let me tell you this the movie is funny, but seriously, this movie is really sad. I'm not kidding, "A sad Adam Sandler movie" no way, but really there were moments in the film where i kinda choked up. you will be suprised how much crying is in the movie. This film suprised me I didn't think it would have been this good. but beware very corny humor. I also felt like there were time you forgot you were watching a comedy and at a sad moment they try to put in a laugh to remind you.....but it really didn't feel right. I would recomend seeing this movie. 7 /10

Its still a basic cut, i have to finish it then touch up what i don't like. tighten things up here and there. and then compress it to a nice quality file. then I'll probably throw it in after effects and add some.....effects and such to go along with the beat. when I'm done I'll post it. but for now you will have to wait. oh and I'll be adding a new segment. a monthly book review. cheers

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Im frustrated, I just keep lagging behind in my to do list, I haven't posted in a while, maybe thats why im sad. I just really sometimes get really lazy. and I dont want to be lazy I really want to be one of those people that wakes up at 6 in the morning has a good healthy breaktfast, exercises and then be productive all day. thats what im going for. I'm happy to say that from all things going on in my life. today I finally found time to exercise, and I feel great about that. I just want to keep it up, I don't want to fall into the fat, laziness of america. I just can't live like that. for the last few months I have been barely watching tv. TV is not even a part of my life anymore. and i don't really care to watch it anymore. the occational BBC and stand up is good but its not in my daily routeen to watch TV. k well anyway, I started a new book today ALPHA and OMEGA it is really getting my attention.

I have also decided that from now on I will give out weekily wrap up news of whats going on in video game culture.(this is so you don't have to search every day to get a weeks worth news) also I will keep you updated on my shop. the new designs that come in and such. so hopefully my blog will become very efficiant. oh and for you enjoyment heres a cool music video I found, which is actually directed by Jhonen Vasquez ( you know the guy who did Invader Zim,JTHM, and Squee)
